preparation

Add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30ml of waterª. This feeding table should only be used as a guide. All babies are different and may require more or less than is shown below. Kendamil First Infant Milk should be fed on demand. If you need more advice talk to your healthcare professional.

1 level scoop = 4.3g
ª Amount of freshly boiled and cooled water

Assumes weaning at 6 months.

Snap open tamper-proof clip and dispose of immediately and safely, away from children. Hold the top of the can with both hands, place both thumbs under the lip and push up to open. The scoop is held inside the lid. Open the foil seal by pulling back on easy open tab carefully and safely, then dispose of foil.

Step 1

Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 2

Fill kettle with 1 litre of freshly run tap water (do not use repeatedly boiled water). Boil and leave to cool for 30 minutes, so it remains at the temperature of at least 70℃. Measure the required water into a sterilised bottle.

Step 3

Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.

Step 4

Place on a sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve powder.

Step 5

Cool to a natural body temperature by running the bottle (lid on) under cold running water. Always test the temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist.

Kendamil infant

My daughter (4wks) has been combi-fed with Kendamil & breastmilk since birth and doesn’t have a preference between the two, which as a new mum with low supply has really helped to boost my confidence expressing milk for her as she’s more than happy to have both and there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference. Our preference is to make a daily (24hr) batch of formula split into enough bottles for the day which definitely makes nighttime feeds much easier!

Great products

We have used Kendamil first baby formula (powder and pre made) for both our babies and they have thrived on it.

Great milk

Unfortunately I was unable to breastfeed and I remeber seeing Helen Briggs's a influencer on Instagram say how she took her baby off another brand and put hers on to kendamil as they suffered really bad with colic and the was fine on this. Only thing I would say Is the tubs I get on subscription to the one in the shops is different the one in the shops has a little tab on and the measuring spoon is bigger which is soo much easier to open and make a bottle when baby is in your arms

Please read the following notice

Most healthcare professionals agree that breastfeeding is preferable to bottle feeding because it has many benefits for both you and your baby.

If you are considering changing over from breastfeeding or combining breast and bottle feeding, you are advised to talk to your midwife or health visitor first. Once the decision to stop breastfeeding has been made, it may be difficult to go back. Partial bottle feeding with an infant formula milk, especially in the first few weeks of life, may also reduce the supply of your breast milk.

If you choose to bottle feed, it is very important that you use an infant formula milk throughout the first year.

Please ensure that you follow all usage instructions very carefully.
