The kendamil Difference
Why Kendamil

The What? Kendamil uniquely uses Whole Milk as a source of fat
The Why? By including Whole Milk as our primary ingredient and a source of fat in our formula, Kendamil has a naturally creamy taste and reduced levels of vegetable oils, which form 100% of the fat content in other formula. It also means Kendamil includes naturally occuring MFGM (Milk Fat Globule Membrane).

The What? Kendamil has NEVER used Palm Oil
The Why? Because of the scientific research linking Palm Oil to the malabsorption of minerals in the gut as well as the negative impacts on the environment, we have NEVER used it in Kendamil (and we have petitioned the UK government to ban it in all formula!)

The What? Kendamil sources Omega 3 from plants!
The Why? By opting to source our Omega 3 (DHA) from sustainably farmed marine algae, we avoid the fish oil allergen found in most formula and also do better for the world by not contributing to overfishing!

The What? Our Kendamil Classic Ready To Feed contains GOS and FOS
The Why? Prebiotics are the essential food source for gut microbiota, a complex system of bacteria which keep the gut, and the rest of the body functioning.

The What? Our Kendamil Classic Recipe won Gold at the Mother&Baby Awards!
The Why? Our Kendamil Classic recipe is made with whole cows milk, plant-based DHA and prebiotics, all while avoiding both palm oil and fish oil. Recognised by parents and experts alike, Kendamil Classic is closer to nature and kinder by miles.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions answered
We’re so excited to hear you’re considering joining our growing family at Kendamil!
We recommend speaking to your healthcare professional before making any changes to your little one’s diet. It can be a good idea to slowly introduce new formula to allow for their tummy to adjust.
Kendamil 250ml, as a brand new recipe in liquid form, has a reduced shelf life of 6 months. As we continue to monitor our shelf life trials, we expect to extend this in the near future to 9 and finally 12 months, like our other ready to feed formulas. Please keep shorter shelf life in mind when ordering. We have plenty of stock, so you can always come back and order you need it.
They can be given at room temperature or warmed by placing the bottle into a hot water bath.
Kendamil ready to feed should be stored in a cool, dry space between 5°C and 25°C. Bottles should remain in the box or in a dark place to protect the contents from light. Once the bottle is opened, before feeding, the milk can be kept refrigerated at a <5°C for maximum 24 hours.
Yes! You can most definitely place the bottles in your recycling.
For the moment we are entirely focused on making our Classic RTF widely available in different pack sizes. As for Organic and Goat RTF, they are something we’re working on for the future - we're always innovating!
We are proud that no Kendamil products contain palm oil (or fish oil for that matter).
Sadly, palm oil has been linked to devastating environmental damage, threatening our rainforest and wildlife populations. Choosing Kendamil means saying no to palm oil, for a recipe that is kinder to babies and the world they will inherit.
We are working on making our Ready-to-feed available for subscription, so this will soon be one item crossed out from a lot of parents’ worry list. For now, please stay tuned for more updates!
