preparation

Add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30ml of waterª. This feeding table should only be used as a guide. All babies are different and may require more or less than is shown below. Kendamil First Infant Milk should be fed on demand. If you need more advice talk to your healthcare professional.

1 level scoop = 4.3g
ª Amount of freshly boiled and cooled water

Assumes weaning at 6 months.

Snap open tamper-proof clip and dispose of immediately and safely, away from children. Hold the top of the can with both hands, place both thumbs under the lip and push up to open. The scoop is held inside the lid. Open the foil seal by pulling back on easy open tab carefully and safely, then dispose of foil.

Step 1

Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 2

Fill kettle with 1 litre of freshly run tap water (do not use repeatedly boiled water). Boil and leave to cool for 30 minutes, so it remains at the temperature of at least 70℃. Measure the required water into a sterilised bottle.

Step 3

Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.

Step 4

Place on a sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve powder.

Step 5

Cool to a natural body temperature by running the bottle (lid on) under cold running water. Always test the temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist.

Best baby milk on the market

"Swapped my daughter to this when she was a few weeks old after a bad start with Aptamil. . LOVED Kendamil. Now 4 years later using it with my son from the get go, 10 weeks in and no complaints :) also love the no fish oil etc! Excellent, fair price too compared to others on the market"

Ella (5/5)

Best formula on the market

"This formula completely changed my reflux baby's life when she was a baby 4 years ago, so it was a no brainer that for my second baby he went straight on to Kendamil from birth. He has absolutely thrived just like his big sister, no struggling with tummy troubles or excessive vomiting due to all the unnecessary oils they struggle to process. It also smells incredible! I have a friend whose baby is using another brand and the smell is diabolical, like chemicals. I rave about Kendamil to anyone having babies"

Naomi (5/5)

Great

"From using the liquid first infant milk at the birth of my baby till a few days because my breast milk didn’t rush immediately after giving birth to breastfeeding exclusively for 5 months and now using the formula, it has been great transitions. My baby keeps getting better and she really loves the formula. I like that she did not have any reaction as the switches went on. It keeps her fuller for longer. I would recommend."

Adefunke O. (5/5)

Given since day of birth.

"First and only milk my baby girl has had and she absolutely loves it! We have now started the Kendamil Smooth Rice and the Banana Porridge and she is obsessed! Organic, simple ingredients, gentle on babies - what’s not to love! Can always trust Kendamil"

Sabrine A. (5/5)

Good formula, happy baby

"Changed to this formula from another as my baby didn’t get on with it and my baby gets in much better. She had awful constipation but now much better since being on Kendamil."

Megan Y. (5/5)

Great milk for baby

"Baby been on this since shortly after birth and is absolutely thriving. Chose this one as I felt the ingredients were better compared to other brands. Easy to use, and the subscription with monthly delivery is perfect. Saves me having to get it from the shops."

Kim C. (5/5)

Overall happy babies

"I’ve used this with both my babies and just the best! No colic, always sleeping 6 hour stretches at night from 8 weeks old, overall happy babies, 100% recommend"

Georgia H. (5/5)

Really good milk

"Baby settles very well on this milk after struggling with wind, we will be continuing to purchase via the subscription."

Zoe (5/5)

Supported the weaning from breast feeding perfectly

"For various reasons we stopped breastfeeding at 3 months — which was a bit scary! Picking the right milk was hard, but after reading numerous reviews we went with Kendamil and we are so glad we did! The transition was smooth and our baby girl loved it from the off!"

P J. (5/5)

Chosen with care

"So much research before baby due date to find the best formula and this won hands down. The tub is secure and can take more strength to open also I’m Nannie with stays which half of the tins wasted 4 weeks use by… be great to offer half tins as I’ve also bought ready made which half or 1/3 has to get binned as only an hour… just feels sad that it’s waste when it’s such a high end product"

Q&A

Please read the following notice

Most healthcare professionals agree that breastfeeding is preferable to bottle feeding because it has many benefits for both you and your baby.

If you are considering changing over from breastfeeding or combining breast and bottle feeding, you are advised to talk to your midwife or health visitor first. Once the decision to stop breastfeeding has been made, it may be difficult to go back. Partial bottle feeding with an infant formula milk, especially in the first few weeks of life, may also reduce the supply of your breast milk.

If you choose to bottle feed, it is very important that you use an infant formula milk throughout the first year.

Please ensure that you follow all usage instructions very carefully.
