On your marks, get set, BAKE!

We love the Great British Bake Off and can't wait for its return on the 22nd September! We have some delicious bakes using our Kendamil porridge’s for you to try at home.

We love the Great British Bake Off and can't wait for its return this autumn! We have some delicious bakes using our Kendamil porridges for you to try at home.

Our customers have been hard at work creating some amazing recipes and we are loving the creativity of them all. Who knows, you may be rewarded with the Hollywood handshake for one of your scrummy bakes. Here are some of our favourite customer recipes:

Instagram: @lucy_andb_adventures  Organic Mango, Apple & Raspberry Muesli Cupcakes 

Ingredients:

  • 150g of Organic self-raising flour
  • 100g of Organic caster sugar
  • 2 Organic eggs
  • 100g of Organic butter
  • 50g of our Organic Kendamil baby Porridge
  • Organic milk
  • Handful of Organic blackberries

Method:

  1. Mix the butter and the sugar together.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and a splash of milk.
  3. Bake for 15 mins on 160 degree fan oven.
  4. Allow to cool and enjoy!

Organic Strawberry & Coconut Multigrain Flapjacks

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup kendamil multigrain porridge
  • 3-4tbsp milk
  • 2 diced strawberries
  • 1tsp shredded coconut
  • A drop of vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Press into bottom of microwave safe bowl.
  3. Microwave for 40 seconds then at 20 second intervals until firm to the touch.
  4. Allow to cool and enjoy!
