We do not recommend storing pre-prepared bottles of milk in the fridge, as Kendamil follows the guidelines set down by the Department of Health and the NHS who advise that feeds should be made fresh and on demand. Please consult with a healthcare professional if you have any questions or wish to follow a different method of preparation and/or storage.
We recommend that you prepare your little one's baby milk right before feeding. However, if you are pressed for time, you can store freshly boiled water in a vacuum flask, which will stay sufficiently warm until you need to make up a bottle and pre-measure your formula powder into dispenser pots. Just make sure that the water isn't too hot, even after several hours in the flask!
The NHS does state that you can store formula in the fridge for up to 24hrs but if you are able to make a fresh feed, this is better for your baby as there is less chance of bacterial growth developing in your baby's prepared formula.
You can also refer to the Kendamil Formula Preparation and Feeding guide found on each product page for more information about how to prepare a feed.
